Do members need to download anything?
No. Nexus runs in the browser. Members click the link, enter their name, and the host admits them. No app, no account, no download. Works on any device with a browser and camera.
Can we use this for any language?
Yes. Nexus is a video room — it works for any language. French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, BSL, or any other. The interface is in English but the conversation is whatever you make it.
Can we share screens for reading exercises?
Yes. Screen sharing is available on all tiers. Share articles, vocabulary slides, grammar exercises, or any other material during your session.
How much does it cost to split between the group?
A Circle room for up to 4 people costs £6 a month — £1.50 each. A Group room for up to 8 is £12 — £1.50 each. Less than a coffee for a weekly conversation session.
Is the connection quality good enough for conversation?
Yes. Nexus uses adaptive streaming that adjusts video quality based on your connection. Audio is prioritised over video, so even on slower connections the conversation stays clear. You can also turn off your camera to save bandwidth if needed.
Can someone drop in for a trial session?
Yes. Guests don't need accounts — they click the link and the host admits them. If someone wants to try a session before committing to the group, they can join like anyone else. There's no per-person fee.
